In 2010 Dodging Daylight was put together by guitarist Lanning Kann. Although he was born and raised in New York, Kann made the move to Vancouver, BC to start the project and that's where he met California native Colby Miller who he chose to front the band. They released a six song EP, entitled "For Your Health" in 2011 and filled out the band with drummer Jon Morrison and bassist Shilo Preshyon shortly after. Once the band was whole they played local shows in the Vancouver area and began writing a second EP, entitled "The Calm In Chaos," which was released March 2012.  The band played more shows in Canada to gain exposure for the EP and plan to do a full tour in the summer of 2012.
